Last Updated: 17/07/2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the QR Guardian mobile application (the “App”), the website located at https://qr-guardian.com (the “Website”), or any related services, features or content (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. About QR Guardian

QR Guardian provides a mobile application, website and related online services designed to help users scan QR codes, identify potentially unsafe or malicious content, provide educational cybersecurity information and offer optional premium features. While we aim to improve user safety, neither the App nor the Website guarantees that every threat will be detected or that every QR code, website or online resource is safe. QR Guardian is intended as a decision-support tool and should not replace your own judgement or other security measures.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use the Services. If you are under this age, you must not use QR Guardian.

4. Licence to Use the Services

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

You agree not to:
• Copy, modify or distribute the App.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code.
• Use the Services for unlawful or harmful purposes.
• Interfere with the functionality or security of the Services.
• Copy, reproduce or republish Website content without written permission.
• Use automated bots, scrapers or crawlers to collect Website content except recognised search engines.

5. Service Functionality Disclaimer

QR Guardian provides safety analysis of QR codes, but we do not guarantee that QR codes flagged as safe are risk-free, nor that all malicious content will be detected. You use the Services and act on their results at your own risk. The Services are intended to support, not replace, your own judgement and security measures.

6. User Responsibilities

Use the Services lawfully, avoid misuse of scanning features and exercise independent judgement before interacting with QR code content.

7. Updates and Changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services, including the App or Website, and release updates, patches or improvements.

8. Third-Party Services

The Services may interact with third-party services, APIs, AI providers, security services and analytics providers. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

12. Limitation of Liability
